Mahjong Club ("we", "us", or "our") is an iOS app that helps in-person American Mahjong clubs manage sessions, track scores, and connect members. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
When you create an account and use Mahjong Club, we collect:
We do not collect your location, contacts, camera, microphone, or any other device data.
Your information is used solely to provide the app's features:
We do not use your data for advertising, analytics platforms, or any purpose beyond operating the app.
Your name, wins, and chip balance are visible to other members of clubs you have joined. This is core to the app's purpose as a shared club tool.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third parties for their own purposes.
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Authentication), operated by Google LLC. Firebase is subject to Google's privacy and security standards. All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.

If you choose to sign in with Apple, Apple may provide us with a name and an anonymised email address. We store only what is needed to create your account. We do not receive your real Apple ID email unless you choose to share it.
Your account and all associated data (game history, club memberships, scores) are retained for as long as you use the app.
You can delete your account directly in the app from the Profile ("Me") screen. Deletion permanently removes your account and associated personal data from Mahjong Club.
Mahjong Club is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
